I bought something online and and it took them 2 weeks to deliver! And when its finally "delivered", it was delivered on the wrong address!! And now they dont know where the package is and would take up to 10 days (or more) to figure out where it is! And that would be another wait for i dont know how long!
I have no words to describe my experience with Rona Customer Service other than appalling. I have spent 4hours on the phone waiting to cancel an order. I purchased an item in July 2020 to which I never received. When I do call to inform about the delivery of the appliance, they cannot tell me when I will receive it. When I try to cancel the order, I am put on hold then hung up on, only to call back, put on hold for another hour. When I do speak to an agent, they put me on hold again. This is a nightmare. Not only do I not have my appliance since 3 months, I cannot cancel this order without spending 4hours on the phone.

Bought 20 lengths of 1x4x8' spruce lumber to build a bench. Lucky if I have 6 straight pieces. Wont be buying again. Fool me once shame on you..Fool me twice shame on me.. :(

Been shopping there for years due to convenience. Don't expect anyone to help you. The employees are just waiting for their shift to end.
Ordered a bunch of stuff online only to have them call several hours later to inform me some of the items were not available.....and yet the online system said there were lots. I think they just don't update hoping you will place your whole order and then cherry pick what they have and hope you will take it anyhow. Seems a bit deceptive to me. Store manager was beyond unhelpful and could have cared less. I am about to start a $50000 renovation and my local store in Nanaimo, BC will see ZERO of that, even if I have to drive twice as far. Don't have the time to place an order multiple times with multiple suppliers - the ones who can supply it all will get my business. Too bad - Rona used to be decent place to shop. Sadly, no longer the case.
IF I COULD GIVE A O STAR I WOULD THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHOPPING ONLINE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD AND THE MANAGER AT THE BARRIE LOCATION DIDN'T CARE WHAT SO EVER, NOR DID HE CARE THAT HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE REP WAS SO RUDE.
Will never on line again. Other store such as Canadian Tire tell you if there is stock and if they are out it can't be order Rona let's you order just to find out that it will be ordered and you have to wait 1 to 2 weeks. Also, don't try to track your order because they don't really have one, it just shows Pending.

orders continuously cancelled, it seems they do not bother having items ordered shipped to stores anymore. Whatever is not in stock at the selected store is cancelled and if the items they have in stock don't cost a lot they have no problem canceling the whole order. Apparently even if the website shows hundreds units available to be shipped to the store by the distribution center they do not bother ordering them and fulfilling the remainder of the order is not enough value to make it worth their time.
Their customer service, only phone, apparently refuses to care about the whole issue.
Horrible delevery services. Never received my dish washer even thow I got email confirmation. Called bach the Sainte-Martine store, they checked and told me they never received the order at the Main store of Rona. It's that same store who called me to schedule the appointment... We rescheduled the delevery and again, NOTHING!! The clerk at Rona Sainte-Martine just told me this morning 'we are having a hard time in customer service for appliancies delevery and we have customers wainting for 7 months to 1 year'!!! This IS HORRIBLE and I will NEVER AGAIN BE CUSTOMER AT RONA!!
Their curbside pickup sub-optimal. I had placed an online order but didn't have time to pick up after a month. It's absolutely fine that my order was cancel but the problem was they did not issue me a refund automatically. I had to chase them up twice to get my refund. Tried calling the store, no pick up or long wait.

Customer service is so laughably bad, one feels as if one is in a John Cleese industrial training film on how not to run a retail store.
Hazing of customers by bone idle staff is common, and try telephoning them for a really bad treatment. And I wasn't even wishing to complain either, I just called to ask about buying a greenhouse in the $3000-$5000 range on a "what have you got? What can you sell me?" yet they just lifted the receiver and slammed it down each time. I called TEN TIMES in one hour and TEN TIMES, they just hung up. And for this to occur, just what are the managers doing whilst this goes on? Are they asleep in the back of the warehouse?
The other day, I went in to buy some stuff to treat wood. Everyone who knew about it had gone off duty three hours earlier, leaving little more than new recruits to man the building - laughable management.
When so many unemployed are so desperate for money, it makes me puke to think of staff like this just bumming around, abusing customers for fun and through crass laziness..
Very happy and well served.
I buy a BBQ from them online. No inventory issues. Employees carried the item for me and their employees were very polited and dedicated. I Recommand them.
Extremely rude and unprofessional front end staff. Every time I shop there I say it is my last time. I will not be back to Rona under any circumstances.
